Christian Glauser Benz is the Vice President of Development for the Dream Hotel Group where he heads the company’s growth across all regions with a focus to the South East US, Latin America and the Caribbean. Originally from Switzerland, Christian is based in Miami and holds a Masters from Columbia University and a Graduate Degree in Finance & International Management from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
Dream Hotel Group has recently announced in Mexico 3 new luxury resorts and lifestyle hotels within the last 12 months in some of the best destinations including Valle de Guadalupe, San Miguel de Allende and Tulum. The group is nearing the announcement of an additional 3 locations for Mexico for 2019.
Dream Hotel Group has a robust global pipeline of 26 new additional properties, which, when open, are expected to bring the company’s total property and room count to 42 and 10,034, respectively. Newly signed locations include Dallas, Atlanta, Delhi, Upstate New York, Vietnam, the Maldives, the Dominican Republic, Belgium, the Philippines—and represent close to $2 billion in new hotel developments, all with independent development partners.
Following the widely successful opening of the 175 room Dream Hollywood in Los Angeles in 2017, The Dream Nashville is now slated to open during the Spring of 2019 to become a new game changer for that very popular US destination. The company plans to sign more than 150 hotels and resorts worldwide across all its brands – Dream, Time, The Chatwal and Unscripted – over the next five years, continuing to solidify its burgeoning portfolio worldwide.
